Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

Kai Trump will have numerous well-known supporters as she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns numerous international courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
